When listening to music, I always find myself imagining what a song or album would look like. As a music enthusiast but mediocre musician, I partner with bands in the Columbus, Ohio area to create dynamic photos that visually express each artist’s unique sound and the experience of being at their shows. With or without a camera in my hand, I share the same passion as the fans and performers. The live music industry is a fast-paced environment: I am constantly on my feet, having to adapt quickly to a multitude of changing conditions, but I love every second of the adrenaline rush. My work is beyond documentation — I enjoy creating strong visual identities for musicians and capturing authentic human connection. In addition to documenting live moments, my knack for translating sound to visuals is applicable for album covers and other press content.
